It Is Vital For the Future Of American Democracy to Ignore the Slave Staters i.e. Republican Party

August 23, 2023

Since even before it’s founding as an independent nation, America has always been two different countries, with two very different populations and two very different sets of morals and values. Two hundred and fifty years ago, Just As It Was 250 Years Ago, It Is Vital For the Future Of American Democracy to Ignore the Slave Staters i.e. Republican Party

A small number of friends have made note that the slave staters are holding a debate tonight and have asked me if I’ll be watching it. But there is not a chance of that. My viewpoint is we, the intelligent educated and compassionate populace of the United States are DONE with the slave state party.

They’re no longer relevant since Donald Trump demolished the Republican Party six years ago and any relevance it had as a viable political party in the United States. And the RNC directors know it. Media outlets report zero interest in any news related to the Republican Party, yet still report on their goings on in order to offer full and fair coverage of both parties.

This, their attempt to run another series of debates to somehow oust Trump from the lead, just like six years ago, is a sham and a circus. And everyone knows it. Their platform which at one point 50 years ago perhaps was valid, but is now so convoluted and muddied that nobody even knows what Republican means anymore. (Though we have an idea… See below.)

The most important thing we the educated intelligent and compassionate of America can do is ignore anything Republican and anyone who professes to be Republican. They have slowly transformed over the last 40 years into an inhumane and corrupt group in intention and practice, even if a few naive and innocent few don’t realize it.

Republicans in practice deliberately allow and support mass shootings every day in the United States — every Republican member of Congress and the Senate accepts annual bribes from the NRA by the millions. Killing hundreds of innocent people a year under the guise of “freedom to buy and own guns”.

Republicans overtly defend and support the genocide of millions of Palestinians by the apartheid government of Israel because they believe that “the state of Israel needs to exist” in order for their “messiah to return a second time”. Regardless of how childish this fairytale sounds, they believe it and support Israel at all costs to both the detriment of the Islamic citizens of Israel and the threat it poses to global peace and stability.

The environment global warming climate crisis

Having overturned Roe Vs, Wade without any safety rails or laws to protect the sick or innocent they are deliberately forcing poor young rape victims to have babies they do not want, even in cases of incest or impending death. They are also notoriously anti-MeToo movement. How could they not be considering their stated president of choice is one of the worst perpetrators of assaults on women..? There is nothing more invasive and inhumane than a government forcing half its population to have their physical bodies under state control. In this practice, sealed by law, the United States is no different than Iran or Saudi Arabia et al. Deplorable.

Republicans deliberately block black and brown skinned people from basic human and equal rights in the country. They are anti-Black Lives Matter, anti-government assistance programs, and despicably diehard defenders of Confederate monuments scattered all over the country.

Republicans do everything in their power to block equal rights progress for LGBTQ citizens because they claim it goes against their religious beliefs.

Republicans refuse to allow any other religion other than their white bread Slave-Stating old fashioned bigoted Christianity into the fold in our great melting pot which once upon a time promised religious freedom for all.

Republicans are immigrants themselves but erroneously believe that any new immigrants coming into our country are somehow not entitled to the same freedoms they benefited from by coming here and making a new life for themselves.

Republicans deliberately defend and protect police officers all over the nation who torture and murder black and brown people, spending billions of dollars and millions of man hours to assure murderous police officers go free regardless of how heinous their crimes are.

Republicans conflate “capitalism” with “democracy” in order to confuse their party members into believing that any beneficial government sponsored programs such as universal healthcare is “socialism” and inherently “bad” or “dangerous”. Their stated goal is to rid Americans of all social safety nets and gleefully watch as millions of Americans get sick and die in the streets.

Republicans do NOT deserve to be heard nor counted. It is vital that we ignore them so the statistics of anything they do whether on television or radio or podcasts or online show that the viewership is low, that there is no interest in them or what they have to say and that they have no relevant voice in the nation.

This is essential for our future. Just as it was 250 years ago when we mistakenly attempted to reconcile and unite with them to form a country. That plan backfired 100 years later. And hundreds of thousands sadly lost their lives solely because of them.

Americans cannot afford another four years of Trump or anyone else from this wicked group of religious zealots and monsters. The entire world believes this and is terrified of our country once again falling into the hands of these corrupt, unintelligent people. We must protect the country and ourselves and our families by ignoring them. Give them zero attention particles.

America Has Only One Political Party Left — What Happened to Republicans

May 15, 2023

Disclaimer: For clarity and context, the author of the essay below was raised Republican. His grandfather was a career higher-up in the Republican Party. It was and still is “the family political party”. He himself has been a lifelong Independent. He has never been a Democrat or a Republican. He’s voted for both sides intermittently depending on geographic location and what the vote was about.

Anyone who lacks basic knowledge of current affairs in the United States enough to ask you why the once-sufficient Republican Party is now so despised here in the U.S., and a laughing stock everywhere else, save the article linked below and forward it to them. The headline sums it up well enough. [DeSantis signs bill to defund Diversity, Equity and Inclusion programs at Florida’s public colleges. Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) signed a bill into law Monday barring the state’s colleges and universities from spending money on diversity, equity and inclusion programs, and limiting how race can be discussed in many courses.]

Of course, you could also just google any one of the hundreds of elected Republicans current or former on any given day, especially the former president, and find equally damning & infuriating evidence of the lost and dangerous party and its followers.

This of course does not equate to the Democratic Party being “good”. People often make that mistake. It just makes them “better”. Truth be told, you’d be hard pressed to not be Independent at this point, though the Dems are doing fine at the moment in terms of performance and at the very least being aligned with the basic views of at least half the American people and most of the world.

But at a time like this, when the very system itself and the government it creates is so awash in greed, corruption and ineptitude on both sides, Independent makes sense. It’s the only intelligent option for a people long overdue for an actual solution to the broken system that was once envisioned to serve them.

With that said, Independent or not, anyone not disturbed by and terrified of the collection of criminals and crackpots who have no place to go in American politics but the Republican Party now should be viewed questionably.

They’ll give you plenty of excuses why they don’t see the insanity taking place all around them by these lunatics and thieves…. And that, right there, is enough to question anyone’s intelligence or sanity. They’ll say they don’t see the ignorance, corruption, greed, bigotry, duplicity, deceit, or stupidity in Republicanism ….. Love them or not, there’s something terribly wrong with this person.

Or they’ll acknowledge some of it and claim to be terribly distraught about it, and then say “but it’s better than the alternative” (meaning the Dems), which in itself is absolutely terrifying. You don’t choose a racist homophobic lying stealing uncompassionate heartless criminal to care for your kids because you disagree with a few ideas of the well-educated, responsible and compassionate babysitter down the block.

I have plenty of Republican friends. When I question how they can still support such a sewer pit of the worst humanity has to offer, the answers I’m given are: 1. “I was raised Republican.” These r the types who believe politics is no different than American football. They want their team to win. They feel bad when it doesn’t. 2. It’s the money. I.E. “I don’t want to pay more taxes. I want to stop all those entitlement programs.” (we’ll get to this — and indeed it’s the only reason there still is a Republican Party considering how far it’s fallen. But the wealthy 1% don’t need a government for anything except military protection from foreign invaders. So they care not who’s in office except for one issue: taxes. So they alone (including the corporations) donate the majority of the money to the party knowing full well they’re voluntarily in bed with the unwashed uneducated masses from the slave states but they don’t care, as long as their taxes stay low, or their company gets the write offs or exemptions or laws changed that they requested. If they cause a civil war ala January 6th or something worse through their irresponsibly keeping republicans in office, they’ll be on the first plane out of here. But it won’t be a plane. It’ll be a private jet. Theirs. This is how the wealthy inadvertently cooperate with and support millions of people they’d never agree with on anything, never associate with or even talk to. Because they don’t talk to or associate with them. They just know the Republican Party needs them or they can’t win and hence has absolutely no morals scruples or values. So they know they can get whatever they want out of said party. Their own personal views are liberal and intelligent. But they secretly or even publicly support the Repubs for financial reasons only, having almost zero allegiance to any country, especially not this one. They’ve transcended nationality due to financial status. 3. They’re religious and they think homosexuality or abortion is sinful. 4. They “care about the kids” and think LGBTQ is all harmful to kids. Many of them equate LGBTQ with pedophilia automatically. 5. They say they don’t see anything wrong with the current state of republicanism or those serving under its banner. They either really don’t see Desantis, Santos, Geatz, Taylor-Greene, Cruz, Trump, et al., or they do see them and actually agree with them. Besides the soulless wealthy who support current republicans knowing they’re destroying the country, this group is by far the most dangerous. It’s the same group we’ve been fighting since before, during and after the civil war. These are the real life Slave-Staters we’ve been battling since before the founding, who now choose to call themselves red-staters to deflect who they really are, but who they are comes through loud and clear every damn day, as it just did with this new law Desantis passed. If it ain’t white straight christian and born in the USA, they don’t like it. To them, that’s what republicanism and “the good old days” means. 6. They want to be tough on crime, as if democrats don’t. This is thinly veiled racism. 7. They care about keeping their guns and their second amendment. Meaning, no matter how many mass gun murders there are in the country, no matter how many die, they don’t care, until one of theirs gets killed. They will continue to overlook both the global record breaking gun violence in the US and the the fact that it’s only the republicans who participate in the soulless and criminal NRA bribery that takes place (they call it “lobbying” so as not to call it bribery). 8. They “care about the border and immigration”. Ask them where their family came from before they got to America. They’ll smile wide and happily recall their family’s own immigration story. But that doesn’t matter to them now. They’re here now. Besides, everyone in their family allegedly came in legally. And this may be true. But what’s really at the heart of the passionate anger against illegal immigration since it’s only Hispanic South Americans who are trying to get in? And why can’t the government on either side set up a few giant Ellis Island like immigration centers at the Mexican border to expedite the process? Why is the answer more walls and a big NO?

9. They’ll start recounting a variety of different conspiracy theories only aimed at democrats, like Pizzagate. The problem with this view, as aligned as many of us might be with it, is that there are just as many conspiracies about the American government involving the Republicans, as any decent theorist will tell you. Both parties are filled with conspiracy rumors that would make anyone shudder. The assassinations of the five most prominent leaders in the United States in the 1960s is just one example. Most American conspiracies transcend political party and speak to a more ominous conclusion about the government itself. 10. They want to “make America strong again” globally and militarily and “keep it safe”. These are what we call the Hawks. They want a stronger more aggressive foreign policy, more money spent on weapons of war and what they wrongly call “defense spending”. They want to be tougher on communism. Yet there is so much wrong with this viewpoint… Briefly… Traditionally sure the Republican Party once upon a time represented the Hawks. Both the Reagan and the Cheney-Bush White Houses illustrated this. But both the Clinton and Obama administrations changed that narrative. Both White Houses were notoriously brutal in regards to their foreign policy and American exceptionalism speak and practices. Both ran rampant around the world doing whatever they thought was best for the United States and attacked or killed whoever got in the way. Democrats could no longer be called patsies or soft. America itself became a Hawk with no difference between the parties. Until Donald Trump appeared. He said he was Republican. But he cozied up to communist Russia as if it were a democracy. He gleefully danced like a child to impress the Saudi family, one of the most barbaric and monstrous groups of fascists in human history. In regards to China or North Korea he made intelligent observations like “I think he really likes me”. This was no hawk. This was no dove. This was a buzzard.

You certainly don’t choose a political party because you were raised that way (even though most do), or because “that’s your family’s team” and “you want your team to win”. Those days are over unfortunately. For all of us.

As much as we long for the old days when we had at least two teams to choose between in governance in America (which in an of itself is a tragic aspect of American governance. It’s damn close to authoritarianism, 370 million people having only two choices to pick between regarding who controls every aspect of their lives from the local all the way to national level) we don’t now, have two teams that is. We’ve only got one viable political party in America, and another disaster of an organization whose sole concern at this time is its survival — knowing full well the mess it’s in and how harmful, divisive and dangerous it is to the country it ostensibly is supposed to serve (the recent FOX News revelations being just one example of this).

Republicanism no longer looks or acts like a political party, but instead more like a collection pit of the worst types of human beings the world has to offer. Civility, respectability, decency, nobility, honor, truthfulness are all gone. Relics from a past very few even remember. The likes of Eisenhower or William F. Buckley or even Ronald Reagan, with all his administration’s crimes and misconduct notwithstanding, wouldn’t be caught dead being associated with the Republican Party of today. Truth is, they wouldn’t even recognize it.

The looks on the faces of all the traditional, long serving Republican civil servants on the stage during the first few debates of 2015 said it all. They can best be summed up by humored, entertained, shock and horror whenever Donald Trump spoke. They literally would trade smirks with each other because the man was so lacking in knowledge, education, experience and so ill-prepared to lead. He thought he was on a game show or another reality show. And perhaps he was.

But as poll after poll started coming in, the reality set in. The looks of being humored and entertained disappeared. Left only with shock and horror. Americans were coming out of the woodwork who were definitely not republicans. Yet they were calling themselves republicans. And choosing to support this clownish and corrupt mess of a manchild. Completely disowning the basic principles of republicanism, once the party of the rich and refined. Now they were seriously considering someone who notoriously had gold toilet seats in his home, beyond nouveau riche wannabe. This was white trash with a sudden influx of cash on hand but never bothered to get the training in protocol and etiquette that usually goes along with it.

One by one we witnessed traditional republicanism vanish before our eyes as each potential candidate succumbed to the reality that they didn’t stand a chance against this sloppy, uncouth newcomer. And what his eventual election win did was open the floodgates of the Republican Party to allow anybody and everybody in without heart soul or brain.

The Paul Ryans of the party left quickly. Others like McCain or Romney stayed and tried to hold things together as best as they could. But they all experienced the same thing. The complete disillusion and devolution of a once very proud and modestly adequate political party.

Very quickly in, the American people began to see things it never had before. Republicans running people over and killing them. Republicans kidnapping governors or congress people, republicans proudly admitting they were white supremacists and the president gleefully condoning it. Trump administration members or those associated with him started piling up in jails and prisons as it became more and more clear how deeply entrenched he and his friends were in crime and criminal behavior. World leaders mocked and laughed at him. At us. How could it get any worse was the thought that kept occurring to most Americans, day after grueling day. And then it did.

In a flash of a moment, on January 6th, it all became tearfully clear just how dangerous he was and just how irresponsible and deadly the Republican Party was and still is. Those of us alive and old enough to understand what we saw at the time will never forget that day.

The problem? The Republican Party never changed. For a moment it appeared they were going to. Members like McCarthy and Pence and even McConnell implied in their speech and actions that they’d had enough. Then like all power hungry cowards, they caved and back pedaled and started to tow the part line again. Good little doggies.

Republicans don’t have any better alternative to even run for office. For any office. The party has been destroyed. Anyone decent or respectable wouldn’t dare get near them; they’ll stay in the private sector.

This leaves the United States left with no real choices for its governance. The democrats offer intelligence decency and respectability, sure. But viewpoints and platforms many may not necessarily agree with. The other side, the Republican side is all barbarians at the gate now, drooling and growling, wild eyed and rabid, hungry for self aggrandizement and power and money. The George Santoses and Donald Trumps of the world.

Romney/Ryan seems like a dream from centuries ago. But who’s left to vote for them now anyway? Those republicans are gone. They’ve switched sides. These new republicans…. One begins to wonder how this could possibly have a happy ending for the United States or the world at large.

In the next installment we will attempt to explore how this happened.

In America’s War On Gun Violence, Another Congressman Bites the Dust

June 3, 2022

See the New York Times article about New York congressman Chris Jacobs below.

THIS is what the WAR IN AMERICA on mass shootings and gun violence looks like. A Republican congressman from New York, saddened and shocked by the mass shooting and murder of 10 residents of his district in Buffalo felt that he “had no choice but to speak up and try to do something to stop this madness”.
He received so much pushback, anger, hate mail, threats, and pulled support from the enemy, the NRA and the Republican corporation (yes, thinly disguised as a political party), that a week later he pulled out of the race completely.
One man, who dared to be honest, be courageous, show that he has a heart and a conscience in that vicious Republican machine, and he’s gone. no longer will he do anything good or bad as a civil servant for the American people. He was shut up and put down like a dog in less than a week by the enemy. And he was on THIER side.
So when people on the other side question you about America being at war, have faith, be brave, stand tall, know the facts are on your side. On OUR side.
They’ll laugh. They’ll attempt to minimize the TWENTY (20) mass shootings we’ve had just this week in the United States. They’ll blame it on everything but free and easy legal access to guns. But you know better.
This weekend we will create a quick and easy list to Share of the bills already proposed in congress and the Senate to become laws that would put an end to this madness overnight. And none of them involve “banning guns”. That is, again, just a talking point the enemy uses to confuse people so they’ll say things like “gosh I wish there was something we could do” or better yet hoping people will do nothing because they’re just too damn confused.
Take heart. There is nothing difficult or confusing about this issue. It’s a simple fix. 💪

With America Now In a Civil War, After 20 Mass Shootings In a Week, Anyone Who Is Against Gun Safety & Gun Control Laws Is the Enemy

June 1, 2022

Annnnnnd… there’s another one. This is the 18th mass shooting since Uvalde, TX. 18 MASS SHOOTINGS IN A WEEK IN THE UNITED STATES.
I said it a few days ago and I’ll keep saying it: AMERICA IS AT WAR. After last week’s Transcendence Diaries post about this subject a few people timidly emailed me to ask “what do you mean “at war”?” “Timidly” because most, if not all, Americans have been brainwashed and indoctrinated since birth to be scared sh*itless to talk about guns or gun laws. It’s a more delicate and tense subject than religion sex or politics. And that’s just how the enemy wants it to be. They want everybody to be scared to death of talking about guns. So nobody speaks up about.
It’s not that people don’t care. They care. At least half the people care a lot. Polls show it’s a lot more. But it’s only half or less of the American population who have the courage to speak up about it. I witnessed it profoundly last week. Everybody who agreed or had an opinion about the issue and the essay and social media posts private messaged me or emailed me. Nobody wanted to comment or speak about their shock or horror or sadness publicly. And we are talking about WEEKLY MASS MURDER here.
An entire population of 370 million people socially terrified to voice their concern their sadness or their shock about mass shootings in their own country or the mass proliferation of guns in their country or the barbaric and primitive near complete lack of laws governing guns. That’s a shocking reality.
But it’s been beaten into the psyche of Americans for centuries. “Guns are a constitutional right and mass shootings are an inconvenient byproduct of that right. Deal with it. And if you find that odd or disturbing or surreal, well you must not be a patriotic American.” Even if you served in the military to defend your country you are still “unpatriotic” if you support gun safety legislation”.
So we will keep saying it over and over and over. If AMERICA IS AT WAR, who’s fighting who? Who are WE? And who are WE at war with?
WE are the American people. Any American citizen who finds our history our reputation and our present reality regarding guns and mass shootings barbaric, abominable, deeply disturbing, completely unnecessary and wants to change it.
WHO are we at war with? WE ARE AT WAR with anyone who continues to stand in the way of the country’s desire and commitment to evolve and progress on this issue, and stop the weekly sometimes daily mass shootings in our streets.
We are at war with the NRA. We are at war with the senators and congress people who are on the payroll of the NRA (nearly all of the Republican Party) and deliberately pass laws to make guns easier to get and own, OR overtly and proudly prevent laws from passing to control gun violence in America.
The enemy uses every trick and strategy in the book to defeat us. They’re doing it now. As they always have. They deliberately mess with your mind. Do not let them. They are COUNTING ON your fear of speaking up. They are counting on appealing to your patriotism or “respect for those who have different viewpoints”. They want you to believe that “mass murders are just a different viewpoint”, that it’s THEIR RIGHT to defend guns and mass shootings.
They’ll tell you that guns are their right. It’s in the constitution. Just like slavery. Just like “negroes are only 3/5ths human”. Just like “the right to steal the land of and kill so called “Indians” (this is the ignorance we are battling). Just like women not having the right to vote.
Considering it’s despicable record on human rights, “American constitution” is the poorest excuse the enemy has to defend guns and mass killings, except the fact that they’re literally trying to defend GUNS AND MASS SHOOTINGS.
The enemy will tell you that “guns aren’t the cause. Evil is”. No one of a rational reasonable even semi-intelligent mind need respond to that level of idiocy.
The enemy will tell you that mental health is the cause of mass shootings and they want to improve it. But they don’t. They consistently defund it.
The enemy will tell you that we need to create schools more like prisons in the United States, with steel doors and armed guards (with more guns) at all the entrances, but NOT do anything about the guns.
The enemy is NOT our friend. They may be in our family. They may be part of our friends’ group. They may be our neighbor or go to our church. They may be “nice people”. But if they’re defending the mass proliferation of guns without laws or licenses or permits or background checks to buy or own them, they are NOT our friends. They are the enemy.
If they are voting for or donating money to senators or congress people who deliberately prevent gun laws to protect us, they are NOT our friends.
Be sad. This IS sad. It’s heartbreaking. But GET MAD. Do not be afraid. Do not be intimidated. Do not get sucked into “respectful debates about guns or gun laws” with these insane people. Those days are over.
If you are tired if you are sick if you are repulsed and disturbed and shaken to your core by the constant parade of mass shootings in the United States and believe we needed to do something about it decades ago, GET MAD, STAY MAD, TAKE ACTION. EVERY DAY.
We need to stop this madness. The reason we are at war is because the majority of us already know this. Do not be mislead. The enemy will continue to tell you you’re crazy for wanting gun laws until you’re kneeling in a street clutching your own murdered child. THAT is who they are.
They’ll tell you they’re “sorry” and offer you “their prayers” but advise you that “we can’t take away their rights to freely buy and own as many guns as they want to and they don’t want to be boggled down by laws”.
Do not listen to them. Do not debate with them. Do not believe you have some obligation to respect them. You ARE sane. The idea that you’re not just because you want to increase laws on gun control is extreme gaslighting. Don’t fall for it.
America is at war. This is Week Two. TAKE MORE ACTION. We will win this war the same way we won emancipation of black people, or women’s right to vote, or civil rights, or hate crime laws, or equal rights for LGBTQ or Black Lives Matter . We WILL win this one too ✊🏽.

To Vote or Not To Vote?

July 28, 2004
Watching the democratic national convention every day on the Internet. Caught up a bit tonight till about 4 in the morning actually, watching everyone deliver their speeches. Dare I say I almost feel hopeful? I guess compared to what we have now, even the democrats seem inspiring.

Later in the day, I’m in the office and everyone is abuzz about the speeches the last few days. Al Sharpton and Bill Clinton and of course jimmy carter are the speeches that are the most brought up. People cannot stop talking about them. the republicans may have stolen the white house, but they don’t have many current heroes to speak of unfortunately. Except John mccain, who of course is a hero and should be joining up anyday. Hehe. Old guard. Old tricks. Old hat. No one that people look up to in their party anymore now that Reagan passed on. but the democrats on the other hand…. if you’re a young idealist patriotic American or even just a ultra-concerned-liberal citizen of the world, the democratic party offers so many heroic visionaries and leaders. Bill and Hillary are basically rock stars now, for better or worse. All the guys in the office were on the Internet researching to see if Clinton could serve again. They were actually on the Internet researching the constitution. [we looked it up: he cannot run again for president. Congress passed an amendment in the fifties limiting it to two terms max because of FDR getting elected four times consecutively. BUT Zeke reminds me that he CAN run for VP under someone else just to grab another eight years if he or we wanted him to. Let us hope it never comes to that. [as we well remember, even though I volunteered for his election campaign as a bright-eyed young college kid, the minute he got on TV and lied I was one of the first to jump on the ‘o.k. impeach that fucker’ band wagon. I have no tolerance for liars, unless perhaps we’re talking about matters of national security. Other than that, get the hell out of dodge pal.] I think there are probably plenty of guys who can do just as good of a job or even better. But boy what a speech he delivered. It was spellbindingly to the point and coherent and intelligent and just a wee bit smarmy.] This guy says to me ‘man I don’t know why we can’t just get bill back for a while. at least till things smooth out a bit. Just another four years.

But its true. the dems now, they have Al Gore, Jimmy carter, Ted Kennedy has always voted for the people, so he’s a true liberal hero. Al Sharpton? Forget it. that guy was awesome. Jesse is always good. he’s like ‘take it for granted kind of good;’ that’s how good of a speechmaker he is. John Edwards is like the wunderkind of the party; the future Clinton. But hopefully he’ll keep it in his pants, or at least do it somewhere other than the oval office. They even have Ronald Reagan’s son Ron. Basically a rock concert of bright idealistic heart on their sleeve liberals. I can’t say I’m not against any of it. [I mean, lets try to forget that they killed 180 innocent Americans in Waco, Texas under Clintons watch and no one did shit about that. so because of that, McVeigh retaliated at Oklahoma city. yes times are changing. People are fighting back now. And I’m not going to bring up all the rumors of them selling military secrets to China…] But at least the dems have heroes. Real American heroes. People like us. I’m not saying these people are any less shifty than the other lot of slimy script reading hand shaking short-hairs. I mean cheese is cheese. Occasionally cheese can be good; like brie or Roquefort or feta or mozzarella. Yum! But of course American cheese just sucks. And both parties are super American-cheesy. No taste and filled with artificial shit and preservatives. Hence to belong to either party at this point is choosing hamburger over steak. But man, where is the fucking steak? That’s probably what a lot of Americans are wondering. Well perhaps in Kerry we have a bit of steak. We’ll just have to wait and see.

But you get the feeling that the repubs are those people in school who were just full of shit and didn’t understand anything about life. they were the sheep who drank their milk and watched their TV and spoke their lies when they had to. just to keep face and keep the money in the right hands. Whereas with the dems, you find this kind of idealism…. this underdog fight for the rights of your fellow man kind of thing that I can relate to a lot more readily. Normal people that you can talk to and talk about issues with. People that care about other people. .. and of course they have all the actors and singers and writers too. I couldn’t imagine being an entertainer and being a republican. i guess you just have to keep it a secret so you’re not embarrassed…. imagine if they ask you to speak at their convention and you’re like ‘uh well yeah I mean that’s a great idea but uh yeah I’m uh going to be out of the country that week. gosh I’m really sorry guys….’ . I can not imagine being up there at the republican convention and trying to come up with good things to say about this current administration. You would just have to throw truth to the wind and just say fuck it and come up with a bunch of bullshit platitudes and hollow words about values and strength and courage and all that other empty crap.
